‘Alston castle’? Oh, yes, Alston did have its castle, with a timber motte and bailey.

This short evening walk, led by local historian Alastair Robertson, will take us to this atmospheric spot and try to recreate the scene of some 800 years ago.

Numbers are restricted, members take first place.
